Looking at Gallery Post Format page which says ” This is a gallery. The archive will automatically pull up to three images and display them. For the single post view, you’ll have to make sure you actually insert the gallery into the post.” I used the post How to Create WordPress Photo Galleries with the New 3.5 Media Manager to create the gallery in this post.

I got curious as to how to create these sites. What templates where they using?

I still haven’t figured out how the image and thumbnails work. But since this is basically a Thematic Sandbox, I have installed it here and am making these notes for future reference.
I added the Smitty picture two weeks ago when I first tested this theme. Now I do not know why it’s thumbnail appears but none of the others.
Testing Events Manager. Having some trouble getting the details to display. But everything else is so cool.
UPDATE: Went to the forums and found one answer about how to display the Event Details. Might even be a clue to the code structure which is always hard for me to penetrate.

At the very same time Christopher Wallace has been designing an advanced gallery-WordPress-theme for the design community and Smashing Magazine’s audience.
