Web site design is unique. Interactivity with the audience, sound, animation, video and immediate global distribution make this a communication medium of wonder. What would Gutenberg think? Da Vinci? Did I mention cost efficiency?The fundamentals of style and content organization remain paramount but the evolving building blocks of web site coding are both more powerful and yet limiting than design for the printed page. The experience of getting information from a web browser is unique and evolving. My job of presenting that information is both an art and a science.
These are some of my typographic and illustration assignments since 2001. I have not included any of the work I did at TIME magazine here but would be happy to show you that portfolio upon request.
